Odyssey triple weave curtains, made to measure
Odyssey triple weave curtains combine a heavy textured fabric with custom sizing for NZ homes. The triple weave construction uses three tightly woven layers to reduce incoming light while giving the fabric weight and drape. Choose a colour, heading and lining for your living room, bedroom or larger window.
What is triple weave curtain fabric?
Triple weave describes the fabric construction, not a separate lining. The Odyssey face fabric has a listed light reduction of 90–95% before an extra lining is added. Fabric colour and lighting affect the result, and this figure is not a promise of complete darkness or a percentage reduction in heat loss.
Light control and thermal blackout lining
You can order Odyssey without added lining, with Standard lining, or with Blackout Thermal lining. Standard lining adds a backing layer to the face fabric. Blackout Thermal adds a lining intended for stronger light control and insulation, making it worth considering for bedrooms or media rooms.
Triple weave blackout curtains still need an appropriate fit. Light may enter around the sides, over the top or between curtain panels. For a coated blackout face fabric instead, compare Good Night blackout curtains.

Extra-long curtains up to 2950mm drop
Odyssey supports finished drops up to 2950mm without fabric joins, making it an option for tall windows, sliding doors and higher ceilings within that limit. Measure the actual track or rod position and desired finishing point rather than choosing a drop from window height alone. Tracks are not included.

Lining choices are Not Required, Standard and Blackout Thermal; the configurator includes your selected options in the displayed price.
Follow our curtain measuring guide before ordering. Enter the finished track or rod width and your required drop in millimetres. Do not add extra width for fabric fullness; this is allowed for according to your selected pleat style. Check the minimum and maximum sizes shown above.

Do triple weave curtains need a blackout lining?
It depends on the room and the level of light control you need. Odyssey fabric already reduces light, but the optional Blackout Thermal lining adds a separate layer. Consider it for sleeping spaces, without relying on it to eliminate installation gaps.
Can I order the triple weave fabric as a separate lining?
This page is for finished made-to-measure Odyssey curtains. The lining selector adds lining to your curtain order; it is not an order for loose lining fabric.
How do I care for Odyssey curtains?
The listed face-fabric care guidance is washing at 30°C or below, no bleach, low ironing up to 110°C and no tumble drying; dry cleaning is allowed. An added lining may have different requirements. Always follow the finished curtain's care label and check with us before washing a lined curtain.
