Velvet Plus velvet curtains add a soft, textured finish to bedrooms, living rooms and media rooms. Each curtain is made to your measurements, so you can choose the colour, heading and lining to suit your room rather than fitting a ready-made curtain to your window.

The Velvet Plus collection offers 48 colours, from softer neutral tones to richer shades. Browse the colour choices above and check the selected colour name before ordering. Fabric texture and lighting affect how a colour appears, and screen colours are a guide rather than an exact fabric match.
Velvet curtains with your choice of lining
Choose the velvet appearance you want, then select the lining for the room. Standard lining adds a separate backing layer. Blackout Thermal lining is an option for stronger light control and added insulation, while Not Required leaves the curtain without an added lining.
For velvet blackout curtains in a bedroom or media room, select Blackout Thermal and consider how the curtains will overlap the window and meet in the middle. Blackout lining does not guarantee a completely dark room: light can still enter around the edges, above the track or through a centre gap.

Follow our curtain measuring guide before ordering. Enter the finished track or rod width and your required drop in millimetres. Do not add extra width for fabric fullness; this is allowed for according to your selected pleat style. Check the minimum and maximum sizes shown above.

Are these ready-made velvet curtains?
No. Velvet Plus curtains are custom made to the width and drop you enter, with the heading and lining you select.
Are velvet curtains automatically blackout?
The velvet finish and the lining are different choices. Select Blackout Thermal when you want the added blackout lining, and allow for light gaps around the finished installation.
How should I clean velvet curtains?
Check the care instructions for the finished curtain and its lining before washing or using cleaning products. If you are unsure, contact us for advice for your selected combination rather than assuming every velvet fabric can be machine washed.
