Customizing Your Roman Blinds

We offer a comprehensive guide to assist you in selecting the right style and design for your preferences. Depending on the fabric chosen, these Blinds may require varying levels of labor for production.

– Curtain fabrics and similar materials are sewn from edge to edge to create beautiful pleating.

– Roller blind style fabrics are cut to size, sealed, and use a clip-on style rod for pleating.

Finding the Perfect Fabric

Roman Blinds can be divided into three main groups of fabrics, each catering to different room needs:

1. Blackout: Ideal for media rooms and bedrooms, offering 100% opacity and complete light blockage.

2. Light Filter: Providing privacy and daylight while protecting furnishings and flooring; can be upgraded with a blackout lining for added light control.

3. Screens: Allowing ample light through with varying degrees of openness; offers an uncompromised view to the outside during the day but reverses at night, allowing outside visibility.

We offer a 5 years warranty for all our custom made Roman Blinds. Find out more here.

All our Roman Blinds come with a Cord Lock system.
We also offer a Chain system for an additional fee.

Unlike most window blinds, Roman Blinds are typically best installed outside the window frame, positioned above the window. This setup enhances light blockage and, when raised, allows for an unobstructed outside view.

We offer three lining options: No Lining, Standard Light-Filtering Lining, and Thermal Blackout Lining. Each serves a unique purpose—reducing light, enhancing insulation, or protecting the fabric—allowing you to choose the perfect balance of functionality and style.

With all Roman Blinds your will receive brackets, screws and a cord/chain cleat.

1. Regular Dusting

  • Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove dust and debris.
  • A feather duster or microfiber cloth can also be used for light dusting.
  • Dust blinds at least once a week to prevent buildup.

2. Spot Cleaning for Stains

  • For small stains, use a damp cloth with mild detergent.
  • Gently blot the stain—don’t rub, as it may damage the fabric.
  • Allow the blinds to air dry completely before raising them.

3. Deep Cleaning (Check Fabric Type First!)

  • Machine-Washable Fabrics: If the fabric allows, remove the blinds and wash on a gentle cycle with cold water. Air dry and iron if needed.
  • Dry Clean Only Fabrics: For delicate materials like silk or linen, take them to a professional dry cleaner.

4. Removing Odors

  • Lightly spray with a fabric refresher or place near an open window for natural airing.
  • Avoid strong chemical cleaners, as they may damage the fabric.

5. Professional Cleaning for Delicate Blinds

  • If your Roman blinds have intricate designs, embroidery, or heavy stains, professional cleaning is the safest option.

Yes you can. Most of our Roman Blind fabrics are also available under Curtains.
